Due to the simple reason that we noticed that we need more time to optimize the product.
Please see the current DevDiary for more infos: TML-Studios DevDiary #22 (EN) - Tourist Bus Simulator + Football Team Bus DLC

I wonder if there will be a modding tools for this simulator , if yes when ?
-
-
when will you put the pre-order on steam?
-
-
but Fernbus Simulator and World of Subways are on Steam
-
@giacomol22 Yes, WoS and FBS are available on Steam, today with the new Football Team Bus DLC.
when will you put the pre-order on steam?
Listen, TML has its reasons why they moved the release to October 25th. There are still lots of things to do in order to make the simulation best for us already at release. Please keep that in mind, it´s not to make us angry and you didn´t understand them wrong: The release of Tourist Bus Simulator will be on October 25th.

The game will be available for purchase only on October 25th on Steam. Difficult to TML put the games in pre-sale. As I said maybe on the Aerosoft website sales are anticipated plus the game available only on the day quoted above.
-
I just thought that now it is a good time to add the game to the Steam - like others games developers usually do, so we will be able to add it to wish list. You as a game developer can write date of realise or just write later this year. Is it possible?
-
We will release the Steam page as soon as we can - This also depends on our publisher Aerosoft.
We don't have a very exact release date, but it'll be around October/November. We'll let you guys know as soon as we have an exact date. -
I just wanted to post this to show my support for TML. I have never played Fernbus but am looking forward to the release of TBS. I am an avid fan of OMSI 2, even with all the optimization problem and poor graphics. The realism to me is the most important part. The sounds and, more importantly, the PHYSICS, of the buses are amazing in that game, and I hope that TBS is similar in those respects. From what I’ve seen so far, this game looks to be an amazing addition to the bus simulator genre. My question is: I’ve seen two release dates now, Oct 25 and Nov 22. Do you guys have an anticipated date? I appreciate all your hard work. P.S. are you going to release a Polish language version? (Just kidding )
Respectfully, Nick from USA -
In my opinion, the Tourist Bus Simulator has the same driving style, the same MAN bus, game engine also. The difference lies in the terrain map and added economics. I also recommend you to buy Fernbus before the game is released 22 November 2018 year. The Polish language in the game I hope will be. For sure, more details will be provided by TML STUDIOS employees. @Castmin

Regarding to the release, just read what is written above your message, nothing is sure at this moment
Regarding to physics, I agree that OMSI is far away, providing the best physics that I saw in bus and truck driving. The feeling of driving an heavy vehicle is very accurate and the sounds are also very immersive (OMSI).I think this is due to a very effective use of the head movement, this giving us excellent driving sensations, transmitting the weight of the vehicle and accellerations. If you watch the EA of Lotus for example, there is no driving sensation at this moment ( the head is locked, no head bounce, this doesn't transmit any sensation of lateral acceleration). If you test BS18, in my opinion, driving physics are a weak point, despite a lot of good ideas regarding to gameplay.
For Fernbus (and therefore probably TBS), the sensations are excellent at low speed ; it's more complicated at high velocity. I think the first cause is the scale of the game map (1/1 for OMSI and The Bus, 1/10 for Fernbus, 1/5 for TBS). Using real elevation data, the roads are laid on a terrain that is steeper on TML's babies than on OMSI. So the bus has to climb slopes that wouldn't actually exist, and that affects the behaviour.
I don't know if the developers can confirm or invalidate my impressions. It's something which would very interesting to debate, because I think it's a very difficult and complex process. I would be very interested to know more about the the development of driving physics, and what are the pitfalls encountered by programmers.
Anyway , the increase of calculations for the physics will probably affect the processor charge, perhaps a reason why OMSI isn't optimized ?
What is certain is that I prefer the driving sensation in Fernbus than those offered in ETS for example (in external view trucks lean a lot but in internal view it seems that the truck is riveted to the road) .
Also, probably, with the multiplayer , driving physics are the most important and difficult challenge for The Bus. -
Thanks for the explanation - I always wondered why physics were so good in omsi and seemingly so difficult to reproduce in other games (ATS/ETS/BS18). I did download a cabin suspension mod for ATS from steam workshop that increases the head movement.

In my opinion the OMSI has a great physics, the big problem is the such attention to optimization despite the simplistic graphics. What sustains the game is the community of mods that leaves the game interesting because if it were to depend on the servants the game would have died a long time. Then the credit for success comes from the community.
Fernbus has in its favor the Unreal Engine that offers good tools of development of physics and graphs. So it's something to be studied over time by TML and know how to deal with what it can offer without affecting performance. So the optimization work can not stop. The possibilities of features in the game are high.
I hope the Fernbus (and TBS) physics improves mainly from the vehicle reacting with the asphalt deformations (along with the sonality) and also a better climate physics, I still hope to see the rain physics shown in a video published in instagram of TML.On YouTube you find many interesting features using Unreal.
This channel basically shows what the engine can offer, worth watching. YouTube channel here. (Paraline Games)

That's how it pleases , it has already been presented on the forum, regards qbol

Added to my wish list.
Collecting Steam cards to buy the game when it available.
