    Fernbus Update 1.29 Beta Now Available.png


    Finally, there's another BETA update for Fernbus Coach Simulator for you! Apart from an upgrade to Unreal Engine 4.27, there are several improvements and reworks included like traffic AI fixes and overhauled bus doors.


    For the full detailed list of changes, please, see the changelog below.

    Please create backup copies of your savegame files before switching to the BETA Update. Savegames may not be compatible with the new version of the game.

    ATTENTION: This is a BETA update. Technical problems, instability of the game as well as bugs during gameplay can be possible.


    How to install the beta version of the update?

    Quite easily:


    In your Library, you click with the right mouse button on the entry of the "Fernbus Simulator"


    In the drop-menu, you click on the entry "Properties"


    In the window "Fernbus Simulator - Properties" you select the tab "BETAS"


    In the field "Select the beta you would like to opt into:" select the entry "beta-beta"


    Now you can close the window and the beta version of the update should download right away


    After downloading the update you can start Fernbus Simulator via the "PLAY" button


    In the main menu should now be the corresponding version number of the beta version of the update and you can test the update

  • Hi! I have a problem with TBS, I know, this isn't belongs here, but I can't play like this!

    I have 3 W906 bus and 1 VDL FHD2 type bus, and when I want to choose the VDL, I don't see my bus, and I can't use it, because of it. I experienced this when I had MAN Lion's Intercity and BB40, when I wanted to choose MAN Lion's Intercity, and I didn't see my bus and I couldn't use that bus too. Is this a issue, or what? I experienced that too, when I want to start the game, all time needs to install UE. If you can help me, I really thank you!

    The bus doors have been overhauled but in the reality and like ETS2, at the end of closing the doors lift up normally.....


    Please fix this bug in the VDL FDD2, the right driver lighting is visible at the upper floor and not at the low floor.

    Furthermore, you don't see the modelization of the downlight where the light driver is issued as the real ramp of the corridor light (same ramp missing in the Man 3rd)

    In your list of update,

    Please add a sunblind for the Man 3Rd gen And luggage lighting...

  • Well, now it lags HEAVILY where it never did before (at night, very light traffic (40%), good weather, far away from tunnels, interchanges, mountain passes etc). It just goes so slowly that I can't enjoy the game anymore. I've had to rollback to the previous version (loosing all my settings and routes).

  • Hello, I just tested this new Beta and the AI is too much broken.


    Here is a list of things I noticed:

    • Cars spawning sideways, they also drive super slow, they over take you, and then slam the breaks in front of you, where it is just impossible to stop.
      It feels like I am playing Enduro game. hehehe.
    • The issue where when you press C to get out of drive sit, the mouse cursor is showing and you cant move unless you click the screen.
    • After taking a break, if there are passengers in the front seats, it wont let you scan them easily, because it will make you sit down at driving position.

    I need help O.O


    I reverted my game back to the Original version, and my profile is gone. :(


    All the bus stops are locked, and my routes don't show up anymore, altho the .route Json files exist in the folder.


    Please tell me how I can force my profile to open up the routes again, I have 3K exp and my map was fully opened before the revert.


    Took me too long to unlock all bus stops with all the map DLCs, I don't want to have to do that all over again. ;(



    Edit: Nevermind, I fixed it myself, by editing the Profile.sav file I have backed up here, just changed the 4.27 to 4.25 to be compatible with the official UE version. :) Worked like a charm.

  • Is it possible to allow us to change the radio station, without having to HEX edit the game files?


    Perhaps add a config file, it does not even need to be in the game menus, just in the config files is good enough.

  • A config file to change the radio streams is really necessary. Your stations are nice, but after many hours of driving it would be nice to choose other music. :)


    Headlights are too dim. While driving at night I have to increase gamma to the max to drive safely.


    I have 3 screen setup. When cars overtake me on a motorway, the area lit with their headlights is out of sync with their position. It is bright for too long. And probably too much is lit being by those lights. Sometimes it looks rather like sunrise.

  • When will you release the final version of the update?


    Please be sure to do these before update:


    - Fix headlights issue, especially full beam has problem which we mentioned before. It illuminates where already normal headlights illuminate but a little bit more shiny way. It should be spreaded around and front.


    - Work on bus physics a little bit more, tough i like it after recent works, there are still to do, a little bit smoother and retarder fix will be good. First level of the retarder shouldn't slow the bus that much and feel like a heavy brake. And another issue, while going downhill it should force us to use retarder but we don't need to use it because it keeps the speed as we set.


    I don't say other things which are already in the beta version like AI fixes etc. Meanwhile, loved to hear passenger atmosphere sounds. Thanks

    Hey TML-Team,

    I started to do some bug-hunting on the 1.29 beta of Fernbus Simulator. For now I came past the 5 so far, when starting from Zürich. :fernbus::fbs-sign-123:


    1. Tree sticking through bridge

    2. Lampposts sticking through trees (multiple times on this road)

    3. Slow graphics loading when exiting the tunnel, it took atleast 10-20 seconds to load properly

    4. (Not sure if it was the reason to do it) Gap in fence by the Purple Cow

    5. Grass misplaced
