We’ve updated our roadmap for 2026 and would like to share with you what we’re planning next for The Bus. In addition to new content, we’re planning improvements to multiplayer, performance, and stability.

Planned DLCs
We’re also planning additional DLCs for The Bus. The following graphic gives you an overview of these expansions. Our DLC plans aren’t limited to 2026 and also include content for the coming years.

What’s Already Available
With the free 1.2 update, we’ve added AI trams, among other things. In addition, the Ebus 2.2 is now available in 4 variants.
Our Plans for This Year
For the remaining months, we have set the following goals:
- Multiplayer Improvements: We’re working to fix crashes and disconnections and improve performance.
- Buses from the Long-Distance Bus Simulator: We’d like to make buses from the Long-Distance Bus Simulator playable in The Bus as well.
- Additional AI bus routes: Branch lines and intersecting lines are intended to supplement AI bus service—for example, the M45 at the Zoologischer Garten S-Bahn and U-Bahn station. You can’t drive these routes yourself, but you’ll encounter their buses along your routes.
Other Works
At the same time, we’re improving the stability and performance of The Bus, fixing bugs, and making adjustments to the game world. We’re also continuing to work on telemetry for the consoles and a complete overhaul of the transmission systems.
We also have more quality-of-life improvements planned for the future. We’ll share details with you as soon as we have more to say about them.
You can find the current overview on our roadmap.
Please note: The roadmap serves as a general guide and reflects our current planning status. Individual items are subject to change, adjustment, or postponement at any time. This also applies to the projects we are currently planning for this year.
